Renewable Energy Research Center organizes a scientific workshop on digital education applications

Under the patronage of the President of Anbar University, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, the Renewable Energy Research Center, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, organized a scientific workshop entitled "Digital Education Applications". The scientific workshop was held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at ten o'clock in the morning.

The workshop included a training session aimed at exploring and learning how to use modern digital education tools and techniques in the field of education and providing instructors, students, or education specialists with the knowledge and skills necessary to use digital applications to improve the learning experience. The workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Rabah Nouri Farhan and Mr. Qusay Hatem Issa.

The workshop covered a number of main topics, including:

Developing participants' skills in using digital tools and applications

Enhancing teaching methods using technology

Exchanging experiences and knowledge among participants in the field of digital education

Future innovations in digital education such as artificial intelligence and machine learning

The role of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in education

The development of interactive learning tools and how to benefit from them

The workshop received great interaction from the participants, who praised the importance of the topics raised, and expressed their benefit from the speakers' experiences. This workshop comes within the University of Anbar's ongoing efforts to support digital education, as this workshop can provide instructors and students with the tools and skills necessary to improve the learning experience using digital applications
