Scientific Cooperation Between the Renewable Energy Research Center at Anbar University and ETEL in the Field of Solar Energy

As part of Anbar University's efforts to strengthen scientific partnerships with the private sector and support the shift towards renewable energy, the university's Renewable Energy Research Center announced a joint scientific and training collaboration with ITEL, a company specializing in solar energy technologies and systems.
This collaboration included a specialized training program in photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems, targeting the staff of the Renewable Energy Research Center. The training covered the theoretical and practical aspects of designing, operating, and maintaining solar energy systems, as well as introducing them to the latest technologies in this field. This aims to develop their scientific and practical skills and enhance the efficiency of research and applied performance within the center.
At the conclusion of the training program, certificates of participation were distributed to the trainees in recognition of their efforts and active participation in the success of this scientific activity. Itel also provided significant support to the center, donating an inverter and a battery for research and training purposes. This enhances the center's laboratory capabilities and supports scientific research and experiments related to solar energy.
Center officials emphasized that this collaboration aligns with the university's strategy to link scientific research with practical application, engage with reputable companies, and contribute to finding sustainable solutions to energy challenges. This serves the local community and supports Iraq's move towards relying on clean and renewable energy sources.
