Publication of a Scientific Research within Scopus Index

Assistant Professor (Mohammed Karim Mohammed), a lecturer at the Renewable Energy Research Center at Anbar University, published a scientific paper with researchers in the international journal "Journal of Physics: Conference Series," which is indexed in Scopus. The paper is titled:

"Simulation and Analysis of a High-Performance Temperature Control System for Buildings Based on Conventional Controller"

Cite score: 1.3

ISSN: 1742-6588

One of the most important reasons for properly regulating temperature in public buildings is to achieve excellent thermal performance while minimizing energy consumption. This project aims to develop an information-based control system using the PID controller in MATLAB. To implement the controller, dynamic modeling of temperature responses across a wide range of control constants and parameters was performed. Based on the data, the PID system is capable of accurately regulating temperature. It integrates with the original design, reducing energy consumption and achieving rapid timescales. The research includes comparisons of control performance under various PID tuning parameters and temperature conditions, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of the system's effectiveness. It also presents the study's various temperature conditions.
