Participation of Lecturer Dr. Adel Hassan Mahmoud in the Renewable Energy Companies Conference at the Baghdad International Fair

In accordance with the directives of the respected university president on the necessity of enhancing cooperation with renewable energy companies, Dr. Adel Mahmoud Hassan, a lecturer at the Renewable Energy Research Center, participated in the conference organized by renewable energy companies as part of the activities of the Baghdad International Exhibition, where a group of experts and specialists in the field of energy met to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the sustainable energy sector on Wednesday 2/26/2025.
The conference included a number of discussion sessions that addressed various topics, including challenges and opportunities in the renewable energy sector, the role of modern technologies in enhancing energy efficiency, in addition to mechanisms for financing clean energy projects. Field studies were also presented on successful experiences in a number of countries, which could constitute a model applicable in Iraq.
The conference was widely attended by government officials, representatives of international companies, and researchers in the field of energy, in addition to a number of financial institutions interested in financing green projects. The event witnessed the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding between local and international companies, with the aim of supporting renewable energy projects and strengthening strategic partnerships in this field.
