Participation in a doctoral dissertation defense committee

In compliance with the directives of the esteemed President of the University, Professor Mushtaq Al-Nada, emphasizing the necessity for research centers to engage with university colleges, particularly Iraqi universities, to facilitate collaboration and exchange of scientific expertise, Dr. Rabah Nouri Farhan, a faculty member at the Renewable Energy Research Center, participated as a member of the thesis defense committee for doctoral candidate Ahmed Abdul-Munim Hussein from the Computer Science Department. The defense took place on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The thesis was entitled: "Solving Combinatorial Optimization Problems via Machine Learning and Metaheuristics Collaboration."
