A field trip for students from the College of Applied Sciences in Hit to the Renewable Energy Research Center

In accordance with the directives of the President of Anbar University (Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada) aimed at enhancing integration and cooperation between research centers and university faculties, Dr. Ahmed Talaat Hammoodi, the Director of the Renewable Energy Research Center, received Mr. Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs (Assist. Prof. Dr. Rabah Salem Shareef), Ms. Head of the Environment Department (Atiaf Abdulqahar Younis), and some faculty members of the department along with undergraduate students in the Environment Department.
Undergraduate students were briefed on the laboratories of the Renewable Energy Research Center and the laboratory equipment used in the field of renewable energy. They also learned about the solar and wind energy systems operating at the center and their role in electricity generation.
The parties agreed to establish a mechanism for implementing sustainable development goals and developing plans to enhance partnership between the center and the college through:
- Collaboration in conducting joint research among researchers.
- Collaboration in supervision and teaching.
- Field visits for undergraduate students in the Environment Department to the center.
- Collaboration in organizing conferences, workshops, seminars, and various scientific activities.
