L. Mustafa H. Salih, a researcher at the Renewable Energy Research Center – University of Anbar in cooperation with researchers. Publish a scientific article in scientific journal "Microelectronics Reliability" that has clarivate index with IF=1.6 titled:

"Effects of Ag content on microstructure evolution, intermetallic compound (IMC) and mechanical behaviour of SAC solder joints"

This scientific article examined SAC solder joints, analyzing Ag3Sn precipitates and intermetallic compounds (IMCs) in terms of their number and size. Using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) with backscattering mode, researchers meticulously scrutinized the microstructure morphology of SAC samples. The findings indicate that an increase in Ag content resulted in a higher number of Ag3Sn precipitates and an enlarged eutectic area, while not affecting the growth of IMC. Moreover, the mechanical properties of SAC samples witnessed significant improvement with higher Ag content, highlighting the importance of optimizing the silver percentage in SAC solder joints for enhanced performance in electronic devices.
