Visit of a delegation from QS World Organization

In continuation of the support provided by the university’s presidency to research centers, Prof. Dr. (Atheer Anwar Sharif), the respected assistant president for administrative affairs, visited the Renewable Energy Research Center, accompanied by Mr. (Rami Mahmood Awad), the regional director of QS International in the Middle East and Africa. This visit comes to inform the representatives of the QS organization about the research centers, due to their role in advancing applied scientific research. Mr. Ramy Mahmoud praised the efforts made by the center’s researchers in completing the research published within the global containers (Scopas and Clarivate) as well as the systems that were developed in the center, and the visitors praised the center’s reliance on the hybrid electric energy system (solar and wind) to secure the electrical current requirements of the center And this route that the center has taken is part of the self-sufficiency of power generation, which helps reduce harmful emissions to the environment due to the use of traditional fuels.
