Master thesis viva

A master viva was held at the University of Tikrit for the researcher (Mohammad Karim Mohammad) titled

“Fault analysis of 132 kV substation using Etap software”

There are great challenges in thectric power systems, including open circuit failure and short circuit failure. A short circuit is the more dangerous of the two because it can lead to extremely high fault currents, which can cause significant effects such as electromechanical force and high temperature on equipment, which may require replacement of equipment and fires and other effects on the power system.
